Artist Bio

   Jeanne Marshall is a multimedia artist and recently graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Art from Eastern Washington University in 2024. Her work is derived from observing the impact of human activity on ecosystems and organisms in Eastern Washington. The annual difficulties of evacuating from wildfires were the beginning of Jeanne’s exploration into human-caused disasters impacting the environment. Their works with various materials from ceramics and found objects and experiments with video installation and performance art. Jeanne collects bones, cans, melted glass bottles, and other materials to create installations reminiscent of the aftermath of these human-caused disasters.
